Users must be registered and signed-in before they will be allowed to post on the site.

There is a known bug in Safari that may prevent Mac users from using the rich text editor. Try using Firefox instead.

IMAGES

Images must be less than one megabyte in size, and should be no more than approximately 400 pixels wide. They can however be resized within the rich text editor.

In order to add an image to a post, first upload the image using the ‘upload’ dialog below the text editor window.

Then click on the image icon to bring up its options menu. In this menu, toggle the mode to ‘Full Size’. (The default is ‘Thumbnail’.)  Next, insert the image by selecting the ‘Send To Editor’ button.

VIDEO

We cannot yet support uploading the actual video files directly to the website. Instead, we can link to video that has been uploaded to YouTube. These can easily be integrated into a post by adding the following: [youtube ID], where ID is the video ID. For example, the URL http://youtube.com/watch?v=i7Iyu-iAqek, the ID part is i7Iyu-iAqek. You would then simply put the text [youtube i7Iyu-iAqek] in your post. The video will show up when you publish (or save a draft of) the post.
