I was born Nicole Elizabeth Repack in Pittsburgh, Pa., November 3rd, 1971. I grew up and lived in Pittsburgh, Pa. until I was 21, and then I graduated from college and moved to Chicago, IL. Now I Live and Work in the "Mission District", San Francisco, Ca. I also am a proud alumni of the San Francisco Art Institute, with a MFA in Painting and Sculpture that I received in 1999. I earned my BFA in Painting and Sculpture from Carnegie Mellon University in 1993. More recently, I shared a residency and a solo two-woman exhibition entitled "Casa Dulce" with Isis Rodriguez at Norcal/Sanitary Fill Garbage Dump Artist in Residence Program in 2003. Currently, I own a lot of plastic rhinestones, fake fur, every shade of nail polish, and what to most people would be considered garbage. I have also taken quite nicely to blog writing. Once a writer, always a writer.
